Bassini 1963 elected Prodotto dell'Anno 2022

The 2021 was a particularly significant year for Bassini 1963, the historic brand of the AFR Group, thanks to the launch of the new line of frozen bread products destined for the retail channel. With its first consumer approach, Bassini 1963 wanted to study the main trends that emerged during the covid pandemic: the pleasure of experimenting in the kitchen, the desire to recreate "away from home" in the family, the growing need for reassurance in terms of hygiene and the search for “safe” products. The renewed interest in frozen products, perceived as safer and easier to store, pushed Bassini 1963 to develop for the first time a B2C line with which to convey the main values ​​of the brand: craftsmanship, quality and Made in Italy, and which allows you to always have in the home freezer "the quality of the baker and the convenience of frozen food".

The inclusion in large-scale distribution of this new range of frozen products represents a great result for the AFR Group, achieved thanks to a strong experience in the frozen bakery market and the ability to correctly intercept market trends and the evolution of consumption scenarios.

The recognition of "Eletto Prodotto dell’Anno 2022" in which Focaccia alla Pugliese and Wholemeal Bocconcini stood out in the category of "frozen bread products" also confirmed the goodness of this range. The Innovation Award is based exclusively on the vote of 12,000 consumers through a survey carried out by IRI, a leader in market research, which selects the best products in terms of innovation and satisfaction.

Consumers are thanked by the Group which, with Bassini 1963, will continue to study and develop genuine proposals capable of meeting consumer trends, while remaining faithful to the values ​​of tradition and craftsmanship that have always distinguished the brand.
